The “ARETI” quarry is located in the mountainous region of Pyrgi, Drama, and gives its name to our company’s primary type of marble. For the past 15 years, its gradual and methodical exploitation has formed the foundation of DERMITZAKIS S.A. operations, as it is the source of our six core product types: Areti White, Volakas White, Pirgon White, Venus, Lucina, and Arabesco.

All varieties are distinguished by a white background with unique grey veining that creates an impressive, natural pattern.

Covering an area of 300,000 square meters, the quarry has an annual production capacity of approximately 10,000 cubic meters. It is fully equipped with modern machinery for the efficient extraction of marble blocks.

The marble quarried at Areti is exported worldwide and also processed at our facilities into slabs, tiles, cut to size and special custom pieces for large-scale and complicate construction projects, and a wide range of other products.
