A Pearl of Knowledge: Dermitzakis Bros S.A. & Aningo Illuminate the Tver State University Library

Dermitzakis Bros S.A. is proud to announce its latest landmark collaboration: the cladding of the new Scientific Library at Tver State University, in partnership with the construction company Aningo in Russia. With 35 years of expertise and precision in cutting marble and natural stones, our company was selected to supply and deliver custom-sized premium Greek Pirgon White marble, chosen for its pure white background and delicate veining.

This project represents a seamless fusion of Greek craftsmanship and Russian academic tradition. The library, designed to house rare editions, digital archives, and modern research facilities, demanded materials that convey timeless elegance and lasting durability. The choice of Pirgon White marble also enhances natural light within the interior, creating a bright and welcoming environment for study and collaboration. It was a particularly demanding undertaking, as each stair tread weighed 100 kilograms.
